Domain transfers can now be done directly with ABI Hosting's new domain management service for only $13.95 per domain per year.

Taking care of our customers is our number one priority. If you already own a domain, you can now transfer it to ABI Hosting as a way of consolidating and managing all of your domain and web hosting related services with one reliable, secure company.

If you would like to transfer an existing domain that you currently own at another registrar, please make note of the following:

Recent changes have been made to prevent domain "hijacking". This is where an illegal, unauthorized transfer is initiated for the purpose of stealing a domain and reselling it in an auction. New regulations now require all transfers to have an authorization code entered in a designated field during the transfer process. This authorization code is provided by the current registrar. You will need to request this authorization code from them either by logging in to your account on their website or by requesting this information by email.

Additional features must also be disabled to allow domain transfers. These include "name lock" and "privacy registration". The domain you intend to transfer must be "unlocked" and the whois "privacy registration" must be canceled. Only then will your current registrar release the domain name to ABI Hosting.

Domain transfers typically take 5 to 7 days. If you have received an authentic expiration notice from your current registrar and would like to transfer your domain to ABI Hosting, please give us plenty of time so we can make the transition a smooth, seamless one.
